Application of an Epidemiological Triangle Model on Prevalent Sexually Transmitted Diseases among Married Women

Sexually transmitted diseases one of the most serious public health issues in both developed and developing countries. The aim this study was to evaluate application an epidemiological triangle model on prevalent sexually among married women. Research design: A quasi experimental design utilized study. Setting: This conducted at Obstetrics& Gynecology Outpatient Clinics Benha University Hospital Teaching City. sample: Simple random sample 25% all women attended previously mentioned settings which included 150 Tools: structured interviewing questionnaire includes fourth parts:- a): demographic characteristics b): Medical history studied women’s regarding obstetric present complain c): knowledge about disease (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis trichomoniasis) according d): womens’ reported practices for gonorrhoea, model. Results: 18.0% had good total pre implementation compared with 72.7% post model, 31.3% satisfactory 81.3% Conclusion: succeeded improve Recommendations: Provide continuous educational program Obstetrics increase prevention diseases.
